28 June, 2022 – AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), a global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, has been recognized as one of Northeast Ohio’s Top Workplaces in 2022, based on a survey of employees who rate their workplace culture. The company was one of 58 mid-sized organizations recognized for a high level of employee satisfaction in the study. AMS had top scores for its inclusive culture, ability to get things done efficiently and well, and an open-mindedness to differing points of view. Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces is a collaboration of The Plain Dealer, cleveland.com, and Energage, the technology company behind Top Workplaces recognition programs nationwide.

Since opening its U.S. headquarters in Cleveland in 2012, AMS has been building its workforce in the area. The company recently announced it added 150 new jobs, which was supported by the Ohio Department of Development’s tax credit assistance program. Many of the new positions are in AMS’ recruiter skilling initiative, an innovative training program that prepares recruiters to work for blue-chip companies across the region. AMS also moved into its new headquarters, where the company provides a hybrid and flexible work model and offers continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.

The employee engagement survey began in December 2021 and included questions related to workplace culture such as leadership, values, direction, communication, meaningfulness, and benefits. Employers that score high enough are recognized as Top Workplaces and are ranked within similar-sized company groups to accurately compare results.

12 June 2022 — The AMS Americas team stole the spotlight at the 2022 TIARA Talent Awards US, walking away with three award wins. The TIARA’s celebrate the best RPO, MSP and talent solutions providers in the United States.

AMS took the winning spot for:
- Talent Solutions Provider of the Year
- Best Talent Attraction Strategy Award
- Cornerstone On Demand Best Use of Technology Award

The firm was also highly commended for the Work Llama Client Service award.

Judges praised AMS for its successful deployment of technology in recruitment, compelling talent story- telling that shows a methodical approach and capitalises on data and its innovation, engagement and clarity of message in its services.

19 May 2022 — Global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), has welcomed Gordon Stuart back to the business as Chief Financial Officer. Gordon initially held this position between 2008 and 2012 before pursuing CFO roles at TMF and Unit4.

Gordon is an experienced Chief Financial Officer and business leader with a history of leading change across the services and technology sectors. He is skilled in supporting mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, finance and business transformation. He succeeds James Cheesewright who held the position since 2020.

This latest news follows a period of strong global growth for the firm, especially in the United States where the team has grown four-fold in the last 18 months and is now over 2,000 strong. AMS has also gone through significant expansion in Europe and Asia, with multiple new office openings across those regions, as the firm continues to adapt to demand, helping many of the world’s leading organisations gain a competitive advantage through talent attraction and management.

10 May 2022 — Global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), has welcomed a senior hire to its leadership team as part of its continued growth. Roop Kaistha will execute AMS’ ambitious regional strategy and accelerate business growth in the APAC region.

Roop joins as Regional Managing Director of APAC, with responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the firm across the APAC region. She brings two decades of experience working across multiple markets, spending the last 15 years in Outsourcing and Talent Acquisition with a global talent solutions firm. She has a proven track record in the strategic management of large scale RPOs and MSPs across Asia Pacific. She has held various roles including Solution Design, Implementation, running the Innovation Centre for Asia Pacific and, most recently, as Regional Head of RPO and Professional Services.

Commenting on her new role, Roop explained: “I’m excited to be joining the AMS team. I’m incredibly passionate about transforming talent acquisition strategies, including integrating the right technology for firms. 4 May 2022 — Global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), has launched a new solution to help employers build their own in-house recruitment teams as a shortage of recruiter resources continues to impact talent acquisition strategies.

With job vacancies continuing to surpass records, the demand for skilled hiring professionals has rapidly grown. Through its new ‘Recruiter Skilling’ solution, AMS is able to pull on its talent acquisition experience to not only help firms identify the right applicants for the role, but also provide the expert training and on-going support to ensure firms can build effective talent teams quickly.

Recruiter Skilling is part of the AMS Talent Lab which is built on a philosophy of, and belief in, building and shaping talent to meet business needs. This newest addition to the AMS Talent Lab will sit alongside the firm’s ever-expanding Tech Skilling solution which has been designed to help clients solve the tech skills gap through upskilling and reskilling existing employees, and developing new talent, be that software engineers, or tech adjacent skills in data analytics or project management.

The Recruiter Skilling solution provides new recruitment team members with a ten-week intensive training program of which two weeks are dedicated to client-specific training. Ongoing training and mentorship from a team of experts is then provided until individuals become a member of the internal Talent Acquisition team.

Jacqueline Welch, Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at The New York Times, brings with her a wealth of relevant experience in senior talent roles in the professional services, financial services and media industries. Franck Cohen, formerly Chief Customer Officer at SAP and now on the board of several leading technology organisations, as well as serving as an advisor to Workday and UiPath, brings with him knowledge and expertise in the application of technology to the delivery of B2B services.

This latest news follows a period of strong growth throughout the world, especially in the United States, where the team has grown four-fold in the last 18 months and is now close to 2,000 strong. Company will relocate to an office that facilitates hybrid and flexible work

09 March 2022, Cleveland, Ohio — AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), a global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, has announced plans to grow its U.S. presence by increasing its Cleveland headquarters workforce by 60% (adding 153 jobs to its current staff of 250) and relocating locally to a more modern office that better supports the future of work. The new office, located in the AECOM Building at 1300 E. 9^th Street, will support a hybrid and flexible work model and provide continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.

In 2012, AMS launched its U.S. operations in Cleveland with eight employees. Over the past 10 years, it has not only expanded its Cleveland workforce but also added 1,700 employees across the Americas. AMS’ decision to retain its U.S. headquarters in Cleveland was supported by the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD)’s tax credit assistance, approved on February 28, 2022, which helps companies create jobs in Ohio.

“The city of Cleveland and its welcoming community have played an integral role in AMS’ growth in the region and throughout the U.S.,” said Nicola Hancock, Managing Director – Americas Region at AMS. “We’re especially appreciative of the economic development team of Team NEO, JobsOhio and the ODOD for collaborating with us over the years to ensure our success in Northeast Ohio and beyond. Cleveland has been an amazing city from which we have built our entire Americas presence.”

The new positions will largely be in AMS’ Trainee Recruiter Program and its Sourcing Academy. Both are designed to augment and develop the company’s internal talent in order to support the industries and clients where AMS is seeing growth, including financial services, pharma/life sciences and technology.

“Attracting and retaining talent in Cleveland is a key priority to drive population growth and our economic recovery. The growth of AMS shows what is possible when businesses choose Cleveland as their home, nearly doubling their HQ workforce since last year,” Mayor Bibb said.

The new addition to the existing office in Shanghai is a major milestone for AMS, and marks its continued expansion in Asia Pacific to better serve its growing list of clients.

27 January 2022 — In response to increasing demand across EMEA, global provider of talent outsourcing and advisory services, AMS (formerly Alexander Mann Solutions), has expanded its footprint across the region, opening two new AMS offices in Barcelona and Budapest, while also increasing its office space in Berlin.

This move will see the firm increase headcount in its Berlin office by 25% in the second half of 2022. While AMS already has experts able to deliver services to businesses across Barcelona and Budapest, the company will also be welcoming additional resources at its new offices in Barcelona and Budapest, with plans to double the team by end 2022.

This latest move follows a period of exponential growth in the region, with AMS reporting a significant uptick in demand for in market talent solutions especially in the digital space across EMEA over the last year.

Maxine Pillinger, Managing Director EMEA at AMS, commented on the news: “During the last 18 months we have witnessed a significant up-tick in demand for talent solutions across EMEA and as such AMS has taken the measured and prudent decision to further invest in this strategically important region so that we can continue to support our growing client base and build strong communities for our staff in country.
